Committed to delivering you with stunning, on-trend cloth, we are thrilled to unveil the stunning refresh of our ever-popular Summerstrand collection. This reimagining delivers a vibrant burst of colour and captivating patterns, ensuring you can craft timeless garments.
The updated bunch places a greater emphasis on colour and plain fabrics. While retaining the classic shades like black and navy. As a summer collection, the new Summerstrand features vibrant colours which are popular during the warmer seasons. Playful pops of peach, maroon, and bright blues have been added. At customer request, more neutrals such as camels and beiges are available too. Thanks to the wide range of colours, Summerstrand is a very versatile bunch.
Whilst moving towards more contemporary designs, the bunch remains timeless. With beloved patterns such as puppytooth, Prince of Wales checks, and classic pinstripes. With so much choice, there are plenty of options to satisfy every preference.
Woven from a luxurious blend of Super 100s Wool (94%) and Mohair (6%), Summerstrand cloth is perfect for the warmer climates thanks to the natural fibre’s breathability. The Mohair content ensures excellent crease recovery, making it fantastic for travelling, or in the warm weather as the fabric bounces back. The finish of the Mohair fibre enhances the lustre of the cloth.
The Summerstrand collection offers a delightful touch yet slightly drier handle. This is also seen in our winter mohair cloth crafted using a 2/2 twill construction. This construction, combined with twist yarns, adds both textural interest, and visual dimension. Additionally, a hopsack version is available in all colours, providing further textural variety.
