Last week, Standeven Fabrics took centre stage on Savile Row with ‘The Mill on The Row’ — and left a lasting impression.
As the tailor’s mill, we were proud to present our full range of bunches to some of the most influential names in British tailoring, while launching our newly updated Carnival and Savile Row bunches to an audience that truly understands cloth.

Showcasing Craftsmanship and Connection
From the moment the doors opened, the response was immediate. Customers, prospects, and collaborators took notice. With steady footfall and a continuous flow of meaningful conversations, the atmosphere throughout the week confirmed both the strength of our bunches and the clarity of our position. Whether visitors came to explore the full range or to engage with our newest launches, they left with a distinct sense of what Standeven stands for — quality, precision, and an enduring connection to the craft of modern tailoring.
Among the highlights of the week:

- An opening evening that formally welcomed Standeven Fabrics to Savile Row, with an exclusive industry preview attended by leading figures from across the tailoring world, supported by UKFT.
- A Women in Tailoring panel that brought together 74 of the most respected women in the industry. The discussion, titled “Things I Wish I Knew When Starting My Business”, was moderated by Molly Anderson and featured Deema Abi-Chahine, Claire Barrett of Hawthorne & Heaney, Imogen Johnson-Gilbert of Kipper & Chalk, and Susannah Hall — offering honest, practical insights for the next generation.
- A dedicated open day and evening co-hosted with Lambton Tailoring, welcoming customer houses throughout the day to explore our full range in an engaging and collaborative setting.
- Check It’s Wool — an evening hosted by Campaign for Wool to celebrate their 15th anniversary, in partnership with Woolmark. The event welcomed 30 respected names from across the industry for a lively evening recognising the enduring importance of wool in British tailoring.
- Throughout the week, we also welcomed visitors from iconic British and international brands who previewed the Autumn/Winter 26/27 collections from our sister brands: Kynoch of Scotland, John Foster, William Halstead, Joshua Ellis, and Escorial.

What our guests had to say
It was a week of momentum, visibility, and meaningful exchange. As one guest remarked
on Thursday evening, it was “one of the best things to hit the Row in some time.”
For Standeven, The Mill on The Row was more than just a presence — it was a moment. A celebration of cloth, community, and connection. The conversations it sparked, and the relationships it deepened made it a week of real significance, with momentum that’s set to carry well beyond the Row.
